Humbled in Oxford 8-0

Despite new found belief emanating from our previous weeks win, on song and in form Rover Oxford are clearly a side that are flying at the moment and were too hot to handle for the Legends on Saturday. There were few positives in the game, aside from the fact that although we lost heavily, it was not in the same vein as the Windsor match, so we can hold our heads high (ish) for now. Everyone stuck to the task, but it just wasn't to be...however we should aim to repay the favour when they visit us in the New Year. One positive was an early contender for 'stick tackle of the year', in fact if anyone wants to pip Geoff to that honour they will probably need to break an opponents stick in a future game. Anyway onwards and upwards to Leighton Buzzard!
